AAR CERTIFIED
Arizona Rail Car has been issued certificates for M-1003 Quality Assurance, M-214
reconditioned side frames and bolsters, heavy freight car repairs, and single car test
device calibration.
M-1003
Arizona Rail Car has meet the requirements of the Association of American Rail Roads
Quality Assurance Program as specified in the M 1003. Product and Services are
Reconditioned Side Frames and Bolsters, Office Manual Rule 88, Heavy Freight Car Repairs
and Single Car Test Device Calibration.
M-214
Arizona Rail Car has met the requirements of the Association of American Rail Roads as
Specified in the M-214 reconditioned Side Frames and Bolster.

Freight and Passenger car part sales
Arizona Rail Car has many freight car and passenger car parts at our car shop in
Tucson. We have new and used car part, and hard to find passenger car part. TOP
Mobil repair in US and in Mexico
Arizona Rail Car has mobile repair capability that can come to you for inspection and
repairs. Running repairs as well as heavy repairs, we can set shop for your rail car
repair needs. Repairs in Mexico are not a problem. Let us repair your cars for a
quick interchange back to the US. TOP
On site inspections
Arizona Rail Car will come to your shop or rail site to inspect or evaluate your needs,
or what ever you're needs are. We will give you a written estimate on the repairs needed
or condition of your train. TOP
Recalibrate Single Car Test
Devices
Send your Freight or Passenger, single car test device to us for its 92-day
calibration, or its annual COTS. We will clean, oil, test and stencil your tester and give
you its calibration certificate that meets all AAR current requirements. TOP
General Repairs
Arizona Rail Car will repair your cars to AAR and manufactures specification in our
shop or yours. We can do general repairs or heavy repairs from shoe change out to center
sill repair, side sheets, walk way, hatches, gates, center plates, wheels, rebuild
bolsters and side frames, doors, or any rail car needs that you may have. TOP
Rebuilding
Arizona Rail Car has been M-214 certified since 1992, recondition of bolsters and side
frames. We have all the gages to rebuild your train set or your needs. Arizona Rail Car
has a procedure in place that will insure quality work and minimize your operating expense
once your trucks are in use. All truck components are checked and springs are tested and
grouped as set for proper weight distribution. TOP
Wreck repairs
Arizona Rail Car will come to your site for inspection and estimate your repair needs.
We also will work with the car mover, and do the necessary work to transport the cars to
our shop. Joint inspection will be sent to you or handling line for approval before any
work is done. Arizona Rail Car has repaired cars for Amtrk, Cemex, Freight Service Inc.,
Greenbrier, Tucson Electric Power, Arizona Electric Power, Texas Rail Car, and Chicago

Lining
Arizona Rail Car will inspect and repair your lining need with AAR approved material or
to your manufactures specifications. TOP
Clean covered hoppers and PD cars
Arizona Rail Car has experience cleaning cars and PD cars at our shop or yours. We can
also repair your inlet and outlet piping to your PD cars. TOP
R and R wheel replacements
Arizona Rail Car can take care of your wheel need at our shop or come to your site and
change your defective wheel sets to AAR specifications. We can supply you with turned
wheels, new wheels, and new wheel bearing or reconditioned wheel bearings. TOP
R and R airbrakes
Arizona Rail Car will test your air brakes using the Single Car Test Device and repair
your air brake using AAR approved material. We can also recondition your Single Car Test
Device using the current S486 and return to you with an approved Certificate within three
days. TOP
Prepares AAR billing
Arizona Rail Car will inspect, write up, and estimate your rail car need to AAR
formats. All bills will also come in AAR formats for records of work preformed and final
payments. TOP
